BRIGGS ROLLS TO ULTIMATE NORTHEAST VICTORY AT ERIEZ

ERIE, PA - Boom Briggs of Bear Lake, Pa., picked up his first career Ultimate Northeast Super Late Model Series victory tonight at the Eriez Speedway. The win was worth $3,000 for Briggs who took the lead from early race leader Chub Frank near the lap 10 mark and led the rest of the 30 lap distance for the win.

Frank set the pace from the onset of the feature with Briggs following in tow. Briggs looked under Frank several times for the lead but cautions in the early going would negate his pass attempts.

Over the the final half of the race, Mike Knight who started in the 26th position would work his way to a podium finish coming home in third, after challenging Frank several times for second.

The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Northeast Region next scheduled event is set for Saturday October 13th as the Series will return to Hagerstown Speedway located in Hagerstown, Maryland for the annual "Hub City" event paying $5,000 to win.
