DAVE HESS JR. PICKS UP $5,000 ULTIMATE NORTHEAST VICTORY AT NEW STATELINE

BUSTI, NY - Dave Hess Jr. picked up a $5,000 victory in the Ultimate Northeast Super Late Model Series first event at the New Stateline Speedway. The victory was Hess' first career victory on the Ultimate Northeast tour in an event that was pushed back from Saturday to Monday due to a torrential downpour that came down shortly after the drivers meeting wrapped up on Saturday.

Hess set fast time on the night with a lap of 17.432 seconds. Heat races on the night were won by Hess, Max Blair, John Volpe and David Scott. The consolation event was won by Michael Smith.

Hess would redraw the pole for the feature event and led all 37 laps of the affair to pick up the $5,000 top prize.
