Southern All Stars Set For A Big Month of Racing In June

FAYETTEVILLE, TN—The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series presented by Max Fab will back in action in the month of June with three events with total prize money for all three events at over $58,000.  

Saturday night June 16th the Southern All Stars makes its first stop of the 2018 season at the Smoky Mt Speedway in Maryville, TN., for the Big Daddy 500 that will pay $5,000 to win for the 40 lap feature event, then on Saturday night June 23rd the series will return to the Senoia Raceway in Senoia, GA., for the Michael Head Jr Memorial that will pay $5,454 to win for the 54 lap main event and then the series final stop of the month of June will be on Saturday night June 30th at the Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, TN., as the series will make its second stop of the season at the southern middle Tennessee track.

Jay Scott of Fayetteville, TN., is current series point’s leader and also the current Cruise with the Champions/Dirtondirt.com rookie of the year leader. Followed by Mark Dodson of Caledonia, MS., in second, third to Ray McElhiney of Pulaski, TN., fourth to Brad Skinner of Spring Hill, TN., fifth place is Eric Hickerson of Linden, TN., sixth place is Riley Hickman of Ooltewah, TN., seventh Joseph Faulkner of Flintville, TN., eighth Jadon Frame of Dechard, TN., ninth Josh Putnam of Florence, AL., and then to Kenny Collins of Colbert, GA.

This should be another action packed month of the Southern All Stars as so far in 2018 there have been six races with six different winners with Chris Madden taking the win in the season opener at the Cherokee Speedway,  G R Smith scored the win at Southern Raceway, Tanner English got his first career win at Duck River Raceway Park, 2017 Southern All Stars series Champion Austin Horton got his first career win at Talladega Short Track, Michael Page scored his first career win at Senoia Raceway and John Owenby got his first career win at North Alabama Speedway.
