FASTRAK Racing Series makes April schedule adjustment

The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance has announced a change to the series schedule on the weekend of April 20th and 21st. The series will now race at Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, GA on April 20th for $2,000 to win. On April 21st Toccoa Raceway will host a $3,000 to win race.

“This gives the drives a chance to compete for more purse money over the course of two days,” said FASTRAK General Manager DJ Irvine, “The tracks are only 19 miles apart, so it minimizes travel while expanding purse money.”

The Northeastern Georgia doubleheader replaces the originally scheduled two-day $5,000 to win race at Toccoa Raceway on April 20th and 21st. Total purse money for the weekend totals $23,135.

The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance returns to action this Saturday, March 31st with a $3,000 to win race at Screven Motor Speedway. Including Saturday, the series will be in action for four races over the next four weeks. Total purse money for the series through April is $59,050.

Travis Pennington of Stapleton, GA currently leads the FASTRAK standings after his win at Screven Motor Speedway on February 17th. Ben Faircloth, Ross Bailes, Dillon Brown and Matthew Nance round out the top five.
