Tyler County Speedway, known as America’s Baddest Bullring, has become a staple on the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance schedule each year. The 2018 season will be no different, with two stops at the Middlebourne, WV track. FASTRAK has long been a part of the Hillbilly 100 weekend at Tyler County and will return for the $2,000 to win “Moonshine 50” on September 1st, which is part of the annual East Coast Rumble.

New on the schedule this year is the “Great American Crate Race” at the Bullring. On July 7th the stars of the Chevrolet Performance Late Models will battle it out at Tyler County Speedway for $7,000 to win. The race will cap off an Independence Day swing for the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance.

“The FASTRAK touring races have always been great at Tyler County,” said John Watson of Tyler County Speedway, “We always have a great turn out and phenomenal racing.”

Tyler County Speedway will also be returning as a FASTRAK weekly sanctioned track in 2018. The track has seen several of their drivers place among the top of the National Weekly Championship in past seasons.

“That’s a big benefit of being FASTRAK sanctioned,” continued Watson, “They allow for the drivers to win a lot of money, and a lot of our drivers are usually in the hunt for the Championship.”

All FASTRAK Members are eligible to compete for the $10,000 to win National Weekly Championship, which pays through the top 10. The points are calculated by taking a driver’s best 15 finishes throughout the year from FASTRAK sanctioned races. Members are also competing for the Divisional Championships, which puts tracks together based on geography, with each track receiving $1,000 toward the Divisional point fund.

FASTRAK members who compete in ten sanctioned races, weekly or touring, throughout the season are eligible to compete in the $5,000 to win FASTRAK World Challenge on September 14th at Virginia Motor Speedway. Additionally, all FASTRAK memberships now include $100,000 in participant accident medical insurance. Drivers can also add crew members to the policy for $20 per person.
