The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance is set for a celebration of Independence and Pro Late Model racing this Saturday at “America’s Baddest Bullring”, Tyler County Speedway. The “Great American Crate Race”, paying $7,000 to win is set for July 7th, featuring a total purse of over $20,000. The best Pro Late Model drivers in the country will battle it out for 50 laps at the Middlebourne, WV bullring.

In addition to being the highest paying purse for FASTRAK in Tyler County Speedway history, drivers will be eligible for two other awards. The Basey’s Site Work, LLC Hard Charger Award will pay $200 to the driver who advances the most positions in the 50-lap feature. A random finishing position will also receive a case of Hi Performance Racing Oil from VP Racing Lubricants.

The “Great American Crate Race” will be the seventh race of the 2018 FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance season, as the series stops at Lavonia Speedway on Wednesday, July 4th for the 7th Annual Charlie Mize Memorial.

Matthew Nance of Ronda, NC currently leads the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance standings, with four top five finishes so far this season. Ross Bailes is currently second, having picked up two wins in 2018. Logan Roberson, Corey Almond, and Justin Wofford round out the top five.

Gates will open at 4pm, with Hot Laps beginning at 6:45pm and Racing to begin at 7:30pm. General Admission is $18 with kids 10 and under free. Pit passes are $35.
