CARPENTER SCORES FASTRAK UBB 29 MINERS MEMORIAL VICTORY AT I-77 SPEEDWAY

RIPLEY, WV - The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance traveled to I-77 Speedway in Ripley, West Virginia on Friday July 12th for the "UBB 29 Miners Memorial" event paying $3,000 to win.

21 FASTRAK Racing Series competitors signed into Fridays event. After starting 13th Freddie Carpenter of Parkersburg, West Virginia raced his was to victory Friday to score the "UBB 29 Miners Memorial" victory with the FASTRAK Racing Series. Logan Roberson, Nick Schlager, Benji Hicks, and Henry Hornsby rounded out the top five finishers. Nick Schlager started 15th and was able to race his way to a third place finish. Dillon Brown set fast time in qualifying with a time of 14.306 seconds. Heat race winners included Matt Long and Logan Roberson while Benji Hicks picked up the Dash win.

The next event on the FASTRAK Racing Series schedule is set for Saturday July 13th at Tyler County Speedway located in Middlebourne, West Virginia for the "Great American Crate Race".
