Cherokee Speedway Up Next For The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series
The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series will make their return to Cherokee Speedway located in Gaffney, South Carolina on Sunday May 27th as the Speedway will host the Annual "Mike Butler Memorial" event. Carolina Clash competitors will battle it out around Cherokee Speedway for a $5,000 payday.
Gates will open at 4:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 7:00 PM with racing set to begin at 8:00 PM. Sunday's race program will include the Carolina Super Late Model Series ($5,000), Monster Mini Stock Association ($1,200), SECA Crate Late Model, SECA Crate Sportsman, Limited Sportsman, Renegade, Extreme 4, and SECA Thunder Bomber. Grandstand admission will be $20 with pit admission being $30.
As the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series moves into Cherokee Speedway Sunday Michael Brown currently leads the Carolina Clash 2018 standings with 445 points. Ross Bailes (395 PTS), Rookie contender Adam Yarbrough (377 PTS), David Yandle (348 PTS), and Doug Sanders (346 PTS) complete the current top five in the standings.
