"The Wizard" holds off late charge from competitors to win FASTRAK East Coast Rumble Round #2 "Brown Jug 30" part of the Hillbilly 100 weekend at Tyler County Speedway!!

MIDDLEBOURNE, WV – The 2nd Round of the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance East Coast Rumble roared into the Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, WV for Preliminary Saturday for the 50th Annual Hillbilly 100 weekend with the $2000 to win "Brown Jug 30" part of the 4th Annual East Coast Rumble in front of a packed house in the mountains of West Virginia. When the checkers fell after a great three car battle for the win #1C Mike Pegher Jr. was able to hold off #55 Matt Long and #6 Dillon Brown plus a great comeback performance by #2 Michael Bland to take the $2000 payday.

Plagued by bad luck on Friday at Beckley, WV #2 Michael Bland spent the entire Saturday fixing his car, he impressed all again after leading the field to Green flag alongside #55 Matt Long who also recovered strongly after engines woes last Saturday in Toccoa, GA racing for the start. On the jump it would be Bland to take the lead up to halfway. After a mutilcar incident on lap 8 and a problem for #184 Kyle Lukon hitting the front stretch wall stalling would still not allow Bland to be passed.

However just after halfway on lap 16 #1C Mike Pegher would capitalize getting around Bland and carrying #55 Matt Long with him as Bland would fall back into the top 10. Long and Pegher Jr. would have a nice little battle to side by side the closing laps even allowing #6 Dillon Brown to rally through the field to make a three car battle for the win. Long just couldn't hold Pegher Jr. off as the checkers would go to the 2011 FASTRAK Grand Nationals (World Champion) in the #1c Cochran Automotive entry from Wexford, PA. #55 Matt Long, #6 Dillon Brown, #2 Michael Bland and #25 Zack Dohm the Top 5. #00F Carson Ferguson would become the Basey's Site Equipment Hard Charger of the race.
