Lancaster And Cherokee Double Header Up Next For The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series

The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series will return to racing with a "Double Header Weekend" scheduled as the Series will make their way to Lancaster, South Carolina to the place known as "The Fastest Half Mile Dirt Track In The South" Lancaster Speedway on Saturday September 1st for a event paying $4,000 to win. On Sunday the Series will turn their attention to "The Place Your Mama Warned You About" Cherokee Speedway located in Gaffney, South Carolina for the Annual "Hall Of Fame Race" paying $5,000 to win.

Moving into the next event for the Carolina Clash Tour Ross Bailes currently leads the Carolina Clash 2018 standings with 888 points. Rookie contender Adam Yarbrough (861 PTS), Dennis Franklin (844 PTS), David Yandle (794 PTS), and Doug Sanders (784 PTS) complete the current top five in the standings.

Saturday September 1st race program at Lancaster Speedway will include racing in the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series, SECA Crate Sportsman River Wars, Renegade, Super Stock, Extreme 4, and the SECA Thunder Bomber Tour. Pit gates will open at 4:30 PM with grandstand gates opening at 5:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 6:45 PM with racing to follow. Admission will be $20 in the grandstands and $30 in the pits.

Sunday September 2nd race program at Cherokee Speedway will include racing in the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series, SECA Crate Late Model, SECA Crate Sportsman, Limited Sportsman, Renegade, MMSA Stock 4, Extreme 4, and SECA Thunder Bomber. Gates will open at 4:00 PM. Drivers meeting is set for 7:00 PM with racing to follow. Admission will be $20 in the grandstands and $30 in the pits along with Kids 10 & Under Free.
