UBoB heads to Brownstown $3,000 to win June 2nd

The ULTIMATE Battle of the Bluegrass Super Late Model Series returns to action this Saturday night, June 2nd at Brownstown Speedway for $3,000 to win. Originally scheduled for April 7th as the season opener, the famed southern Indiana race track is now the second race on the ULTIMATE Battle of the Bluegrass schedule. Brandon Overton, of Evans, GA took home the victory of the season opener at Daugherty Speedway, earning a $10,000 pay day.

Last year, Tanner English of Benton, KY piloted his number 96 to Victory Lane the season opener for the ULTIMATE Battle of the Bluegrass Super Late Model Series at Brownstown Speedway. English’s third place finish at Brownstown has him currently third in series standings. Michael Chilton of Salvisa, KY won the second visit to Brownstown Speedway in 2017.

Overton is the current leader of the ULTIMATE Battle of the Bluegrass Super Late Models Series standings. Kent Robinson, Tanner English, Chad Stapleton, and Jason Feger round out the top five.

The ULTIMATE Battle of the Bluegrass Super Late Model Series will roll into Brownstown Speedway for a $3,000 to win feature, which will pay $400 to start the 24-car field. The overall fast qualifier will draw a number to determine which finishing position will receive 2 cases of Hi Performance racing oil from VP Racing Lubricants.
