Monumental $120,000 weekend for FASTRAK and ULTIMATE continues to grow 33k97x3

Carnesville, GA – The huge weekend for all of FASTRAK Companies International has just gotten even bigger, with it all kicking off at 311 Motor Speedway in Pine Hall, NC. Jerry Hunt SuperCenter has added $500 to the winner’s check for the first leg of the 14th Annual FASTRAK Triple Crown, making it $2,500 to win. Carquest Auto Parts Henson Auto has added $100 to the fastest qualifier of the FASTRAK portion of the Bill Hicks Sr. Memorial. The ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series fastest qualifier will receive an additional $100 thanks to Bailes Construction, making the total $200 with the Davis Diesel Service pole award.  Joey Brewer has added a “Lead Foot” plaque for the ULTIMATE and FASTRAK fastest qualifier. The 13th overall qualifier in FASTRAK will receive $100 courtesy of Automotive Specialties Chris Fleming. The ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series will compete for $4,000 to win and $400 to start.

All of the aforementioned awards are on top of what is already a monumental weekend throughout all FASTRAK Companies International’s racing series. Throughout all races, over $120,000 is up for grabs in purse money alone. The VP Racing Lubricants contingency will debut this weekend. In the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance and all regions of the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series, a random finishing position, 1-24, will be drawn by the top overall qualifier. The driver that finishes in that position will be awarded one case of Hi Performance Oil for FASTRAK and two cases of Professional Grade Oil for ULTIMATE.

The FASTRAK Triple Crown will head northward to Princeton Speedway on Saturday, May 26th for the second leg. The stars and cars of the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance will battle for $2,000 to win. On May 27th the FASTRAK Triple Crown will conclude at Wythe Raceway with a $3,000 to win feature. The winner of the 2018 FASTRAK Triple Crown will receive the FASTRAK Triple Crown Trophy along with a crown, robe, and scepter on the front stretch of the ½ mile speedplant. The Champion will also receive a Howard Miller Grandfather Clock with a retail value of $3,800, courtesy of NRV Furniture and Mattress Center of Radford, VA.

The ULTIMATE Battle of the Bluegrass Super Late Model Series will open its 2018 season at Daugherty Speedway with the $10,000 to win Dick Potts Memorial. The two-day show will kick off on May 26th with qualifying and heats. B-Mains and the $10,000 to win feature will be ran on May 27th. HRE Motorsports has anted up $300 for the “Challenge the Clock” Award for the fastest qualifier. There will also be a $200 Long Haul award for the driver pulling the farthest to compete. All non-qualifiers will receive $100 tow money.

The ULTIMATE Northeast Super Late Model Series will invade Port Royal Speedway for the Bob Weikert Memorial doubleheader. Drivers will battle for $3,000 to win on Saturday, May 26th and $5,000 to win on May 27th. The ULTIMATE Northeast Super Late Model Series has a plethora of contingency and extra awards for the Memorial Day weekend. The Roy’s Body Shop Fastest Qualifier will receive $100. A $100 certificate will be awarded for the Keyser Manufacturing Hard Charger. Radical Racegear will award the $100 certificate for the Looking Good award. A $50 Beyea Headers certificate for the Longest Haul Award. There will be a $25 certificate for the ARBodies Hard Luck. The winner will also receive 1 VP Racing Fuels jug and a Hoosier Racing Tire Hoodie. All of these will be awarded each night of the Bob Weikert Memorial.

This weekend will see all drivers, in all series throughout the company, eligible to compete for points as drivers of the ULTIMATE Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series can use the $10,000 to win Dick Potts Memorial at Daugherty Speedway as a “bonus race” opportunity. Bonus Races gives ULTIMATE drivers the opportunity to compete in any region’s $10,000 to win and up races and use their finish to replace a lower finish in their “home” region.
