PAID PRACTICE FOR $50,000 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP THIS SATURDAY AT VIRGINIA MOTOR SPEEDWAY

CARNESVILLE, GA - The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance will make its final trip to Virginia Motor Speedway before the $50,000 to win 2019 FASTRAK World Championship this Saturday, July 20th. The “Prelude to the World Championship” will pay $3,000 to win and $250 to start. It will be the last chance drivers on the FASTRAK Racing Series will have to visit the ½-mile oval before the historic FASTRAK World Championship.

“This is an opportunity for drivers to get what we call “paid practice” before the FASTRAK World Championship,” said FASTRAK Vice President DJ Irvine, “it gives drivers the chance to feel out Virginia Motor Speedway with a good payout.”

Current FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance point’s leader, Carson Ferguson, picked up the win in the series’ previous visit on June 15th for the USA 100. The FASTRAK Racing Series returns to action after a doubleheader weekend in West Virginia. Freddie Carpenter picked up his first career FASTRAK Racing Series win at I-77 Speedway in Ripley, WV. Former FASTRAK Racing Series Champion, Kyle Thomas, notched his largest paying win in the $7,000 to win Great American Crate Race at Tyler County Speedway. Nick Schalger closed the gap for the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance Championship to 15 points after a season best finish of third at I-77 Speedway.
