FASTRAK PORTION OF THE KING OF THE COMMONWEALTH RESCHEDULED FOR JULY 20TH

CARNESVILLE, GA - Officials with Virginia Motor Speedway and the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance have announced that Pro Late Model portion of the King of the Commonwealth will be held on Saturday, July 20th. Originally scheduled for April 20th, inclement weather forced the postponement of the event. The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance will compete for $3,000 to win and $275 to start at the ½ mile Jamaica, VA oval.

“We are happy to get this event back on the 2019 schedule,” said FASTRAK Vice President DJ Irvine, “With the $50,000 to win FASTRAK World Championship coming up in September, FASTRAK teams will have two opportunities to check out Virginia Motor Speedway beforehand.”

FASTRAK will be at Virginia Motor Speedway on June 15th as part of the USA 100, paying $3,000 to win and $275 to start. The 2019 FASTRAK World Championship, paying $50,000 to win and $2,050 to start is scheduled for September 13th and 14th at Virginia Motor Speedway.

“Pro Late Model teams should take advantage of this “paid practice” for the FASTRAK World Championship,” said Irvine.
