| Cherokee Speedway Presents Annual "Mike Butler Memorial" May 25th And 26th Cherokee Speedway will return to racing on Saturday May 25th and Sunday May 26th as the Speedway will host the annual "Mike Butler Memorial". On Saturday May 25th the program will include a open practice for all divisions including first round qualifying for the SCDRA. Gates will open at 5:00 PM with practice from 7:00 PM till 10:00 PM followed by SCDRA qualifying. On Sunday May 26th the program will include racing in the SCDRA, MMSA Stock 4, 604 Crate Late Model, 602 Crate Late Model, Limited Sportsman, Renegade, Young Guns, and Thunder Bomber. Gates will open at 4:30 PM with drivers meeting at 7:00 PM and racing to follow.
