Upgrades done to the track this off season and Car Show / Points Banquet Info: This off season, even though it has been a wet and rainy one; The staff at Lancaster Speedway has still been hard at work making improvements to the race track and the facilities. Some of the highlights on the improvements have been purchasing a crash truck with a jaws of life system on it. New radios for the track crew / staff, LED lighting system coming this year. Better working equipment and the sound system got an upgrade.

Car Show / Points Banquet / Open Practice Full Info: March 9th, 2019 Lancaster Speedway will be hosting it's annual Car Show / Points Banquet along with Open Practice to start the 2019 racing season. The Car Show will start at 11:00 AM and end at 2:00 PM, the Points Banquet will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Both will be in the grandstands parking lot at the race track. Starting at 2:00 PM drivers that want to practice will be able to drive their race cars and race car haulers into the pits. Fans can go in the grandstands to watch open practice. Admission will be $15 in the pits and grandstands will be free. Concession stands will be open, there will be food and drinks sold at the Car Show / Points Banquet as well.

Breaking news about cop car rentals: Race fans have been asking since last year, "When will Lancaster Speedway rent out the old cop cars in the pits?" Well I now have the answer for all the race fans. After practice has been completed on March 9, 2019, Co-Promoters Eric Caskey and Shannon Munn have decided to rent out the cop cars for $10 a lap. That is right race fans, if you have not been around Lancaster Speedway and always wanted to do so, well here is your chance. YOU MUST BRING A HELMET TO RACE!
