ULTIMATE SUPER LATE MODEL SOUTHEAST ADDS A PAIR OF $10,000 SHOWS AT VOLUNTEER SPEEDWAY

CARNESVILLE, GA - The ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series Southeast Region announced the addition a pair of $10,000 to win events at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee. The events are both set to be Thursday night events. A traditional event for many years at the speedway known as “The Gap”, the Spring Thaw is set for Thursday night, April 4th. Another traditional event, The Scorcher, has been slated for Thursday, August 16th as a part of a 3-day weekend for the series.

The series also made several changes to the working schedule which was posted in December including the addition of a 2nd date at Fayetteville Motor Speedway on April 13th. The date was opened up after the Jack Starrette Memorial at Modoc Raceway was moved to Saturday, May 18th and the Blue Ridge Motorsports Park event was removed. The Senoia Raceway event was also removed from the August 25th date.

“Some schedule conflicts and such necessitated making some changes. Hopefully we can figure out some dates that would work to get all of the original events back on the schedule when all is said and done. But we are super stoked to have 2 events set for Volunteer Speedway as well as that second date at Fayetteville. That will give us 22 events for 2019. We expect to add at least 2 more before the year is over. But we wanted to get out an update so that teams and fans can make plans.” said ULTIMATE Southeast Series Director Kelley Carlton.
