ULTIMATE BATTLE OF THE BLUEGRASS REBRANDED AS ULTIMATE HEART OF AMERICA
CARNESVILLE, GA - FASTRAK Companies International, LLC has announced a change to the name of one of its ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series regions. The ULTIMATE Battle of the Bluegrass Super Late Model Series is being rebranded as the ULTIMATE Heart of America Super Late Model Series. The change comes from a shift in the area the region will cover in 2019 and beyond. The ULTIMATE Heart of America Super Late Model Series plans to host races in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, and Tennessee.
“The change comes as the ULTIMATE brand continues to grow,” said General Manager DJ Irvine, “It makes sense to shift this region westward. This region has a lot of strong super late model teams and great racing facilities. We can’t wait to bring the ULTIMATE brand of racing to some new places in 2019.”
The rebranding will also bring the logo and branding marks for the region in line with the other regions of the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series.
“Branding is huge in today’s marketing arena,” continued Irvine, “The new logo is consistent with the ULTIMATE brand as we continue building the premier regional touring series around the country. When this region first opened, it was just one of two regions, now with five regions in 2019, the time has come for brand consistency.”
The ULTIMATE Heart of America Super Late Model Series will sanction the 32nd Annual Paul “Butterball” Wooldridge Memorial at Richmond Raceway paying $10,059 to win on August 17, 2019. The Series will also be at Richmond Raceway for the Butch Shay Memorial on July 19th and 20th paying $3,000 to win on Friday and $5,000 to win on Saturday. The Butch Shay Memorial will also kick off the 2019 Buckeye Late Model Dirt Weeks which is also part of the ULTIMATE Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Model Series. Matt Hicks, of Langley, KY, remains as the regional director for the ULTIMATE Heart of America Super Late Model Series.
“These races are just the tip of the iceberg,” said Hicks, “We’ve got big plans for 2019 and we are going to work hard to grow into the new areas.”
The ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series has grown into five regions, now covering 17 states with the Deep South region opening in 2019. The ULTIMATE Northeast and ULTIMATE Mid-Ohio Valley completed their first season of competition in 2018, each boasting an average car count of over 24 cars.
“There are some great events in the works as ULTIMATE continues to grow,” continued Irvine, “we are seeing strong car counts at ULTIMATE races and that has us tossing around some exciting ideas. I am confident that 2019 is going to be a great year for all of FASTRAK Companies International.”
