FASTRAK AND ULTIMATE TO HOST CHAMPIONSHIP RACES THIS WEEKEND AT SCREVEN

FASTRAK Racing Series and Ultimate Super Late Model Series to host Championship races this weekend at Screven Motor Sports Complex!

CARNESVILLE, GA - For the second consecutive year, both the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series and FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance will conclude their seasons at Screven Motor Speedway on November 16th and 17th. The entire program for the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series will be ran on Fridays portion of the annual "Georgia State Outlaw Championship", paying $5,000 to win. The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance will have complete programs on Friday and Saturday, for $2,000 to win and $3,000 to win, respectively. Both series will crown their 2018 Champion this weekend at the Sylvania, GA oval.

The event will make stop number fourteen on the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series as Kyle Hardy currently sits on top of the Ultimate Southeast 2018 standings with 391 points. Zack Mitchell currently sits in second only two points behind Hardy with 389 points. Joey Coulter (379 points), Dennis Franklin (307 points), and Tyler Millwood (268 points) complete the current top five in the standings. The Ultimate Southeast Tour has seen over 171 plus drivers compete in thirteen completed events with 10 different winners. Michael Page, Jonathan Davenport, Tyler Millwood, Zack Mitchell, Benji Hicks, Ross Bailes, Tyler Bare, Dustin Mitchell, Clint Smith, and Shane Clanton have all visited victory lane this season.

Matthew Nance, of Ronda, NC, leads the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance standings heading into the final races of 2018 with 410 points. Nance has had eight top five finishes in 2018 with his best performance coming in the FASTRAK Triple Crown finale on August 31st at Beckley Motor Sports Park where he finished second. Nance won the FASTRAK Triple Crown Championship and was presented with a Howard-Miller grandfather clock from NRV Furniture Inc. Brett Hamm, of Rock Hill, SC, is currently second by way of five top five finishes in 2018 with 294 points. Third is Appomattox, VA’s Corey Almond (259 points) with three top fives. Brad Basey (237 points) of Augusta, GA is in fourth and leads the 2018 FASTRAK Rookie of the Year points. Matt Long (212 points), of Concord, NC is fifth and has cracked the top five on five occasions in 2018. FASTRAK has seen eleven different winners through fourteen races in 2018: Travis Pennington, Ches Chester, Ross Bailes, Matt Long, Kyle Lukon, Dillon Brown, Benji Hicks, Adam Smith, Mike Pegher Jr, Brandon Umberger, and Mitchell Coble.
