After two of the three races washed out on Memorial Day weekend, the 14th Annual FASTRAK Triple Crown is set to conclude on July 27th and 28th. The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet performance will hit the track for the eighth race of the 2018 season at Beckley Motorsports Park for $2,000 to win on Friday, the 27th. The final leg of the FASTRAK Triple Crown will be hosted by Wythe Raceway, a $3,000 to win feature on the 28th. Over $23,000 in purse money is up for grabs across the doubleheader.

Ross Bailes of Clover, SC claimed the win in the first leg of the FASTRAK Triple Crown on May 25th at 311 Motor Speedway. Logan Roberson, Benji Hicks, Matthew Nance, and Josh Henry rounded out the top five. They are also the current top five of the 14th Annual FASTRAK Triple Crown standings, respectively. The Triple Crown Champion, the driver who collects the most points across the three races, will be crowned on the front stretch at Wythe Raceway. They will be presented with a crown, robe, and scepter. NRV Furniture, Inc will be awarding the Champion with a Howard Miller grandfather clock, which retails for $3,500.

Each race will see the Basey’s Site Work, LLC Hard Charger receive $100. One driver will also take home one case of Hi Performance Motor Oil from VP Racing Lubricants each night.

Matthew Nance of Ronda, NC leads the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance standings through the first seven races of the season. Nance has collected five top five finishes so far in 2018. Ross Bailes, by way of his two wins and five top five finishes is currently second. Corey Almond is in third with Brett Hamm and Logan Roberson rounding out the top five. Justin Wofford of Jonesville, SC is leading the 2018 FASTRAK Rookie of the Year battle, followed by Brad Basey of Augusta, GA.
