ULTIMATE NORTHEAST PREPARES FOR PACKER'S CONCESSIONS BOB WEIKERT MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND AT PORT ROYAL
CARNESVILLE, GA - The Ultimate Northeast Super Late Model Series is preparing for the first ever two day event in series history on Saturday May 26th and Sunday May 27th with the Bob Weikert Memorial presented by Packer's Concessions at the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pa. The event will mark the series' first-ever visit to "The Speed Palace," and will surely draw a tremendous field to the half-mile oval.
On Saturday May 26th, the Ultimate Northeast Super Late Model Series will compete in a 30 lap event paying $3,000 to win and $400 to start. The Sunday night finale will see the Ultimate Northeast competing in a 35 lap event paying $5,000 to win and $400 to start. If the Ultimate Northeast wasn't enough, the 410 Sprints will also be on hand both days paying $5,000 to win on Saturday and $10,000 to win on Sunday.
Super Late Model drivers who enter both days of the event will receive $50 off their registration for the Sunday portion of the program courtesy of series sponsor M. Reno Trailer Sales.
Heading into next Saturday's huge weekend event, Jared Miley of Pittsburgh, Pa., leads the Ultimate Northeast Super Late Model Series point standings by one point over Matt Cosner of Ridgeley, W.Va., and by 18 points over both Ross Robinson of Georgetown, Del., and Ryan Montgomery of Fairmont, W.Va.
General admission for Saturday will be $25, and $30 on Sunday. Both general admission and pit gates will open at 4 P.M. both days with racing slated to begin at 7 P.M.
