Toccoa Raceway, in Toccoa, Georgia will return as a FASTRAK sanctioned track for the fourth consecutive year under owner Mike Davidson. The track has seen one of its weekly drivers win the FASTRAK National Weekly Championship as recently as 2016, when David McCoy of Franklin, NC took home the honors.

“FASTRAK gives local drivers the opportunity to run for a National Championship,” said Davidson, “They keep the rules uniform and these local guys are able to get some national publicity through FASTRAK.”

FASTRAK gives drivers the chance to race for the $10,000 to win National Championship at Toccoa Raceway. Other payouts include the Divisional championships and Future Star Cup.

“Giving our drivers the chance to race for multiple payouts is the best benefit,” stated Davidson, “FASTRAK’s reward to the drivers is simply unmatched.”

Toccoa was among the original FASTRAK sanctioned tracks in the southeast and has always played host to the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance each season. Toccoa Raceway is located just 15 miles from the FASTRAK Corporate Office located in Carnesville, Georgia.

“FASTRAK being based just 15 miles from the track makes it a no brainer to be sanctioned with them,” said Davidson.

The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance is scheduled for two races at Toccoa Raceway in 2018. On April 20th and 21st Toccoa will host a two-day, $5,000 to win race, with qualifying and heat races taking place on the 20th. Any B-Mains and the feature will be ran on April 21st. The series will return to the track on June 2nd for $2,000 to win.

“I am looking forward to getting the 2018 season started,” continued Davidson, “hoping for another competitive year with FASTRAK.”
