FASTRAK TO RETURN TO PRINCETON SPEEDWAY ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND

CARNESVILLE, GA - FASTRAK Companies International is excited to announce the return of the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance to Princeton Speedway in Princeton, WV on Friday, August 30th. FASTRAK drivers will compete for $2,000 to win and $250 to start at the 4/10-mile oval. Princeton Speedway has sat idle so far in 2019 but will return to action in early August. Princeton Speedway will also be sanctioned as a FASTRAK Weekly track, allowing drivers to earn points towards the FASTRAK VP Racing Fuels National Weekly Championship. Princeton Speedway had previously committed to being a FASTRAK Weekly track in January before making the decision to keep the track closed in 2019.

“This announcement is certainly exciting,” said FASTRAK Vice President DJ Irvine, “After a great meeting with Melvin and Sherlene Bishop, we are returning to a track that has been within the FASTRAK organization for 15 years.”

The race will open the 2019 FASTRAK East Coast Rumble which includes a Saturday-Sunday doubleheader at Tyler County Speedway, alongside the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series’ Hillbilly 100. The FASTRAK Racing Series will compete for $2,000 to win both nights at “America’s Baddest Bullring”.

The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance made its last appearance at Princeton Speedway in 2018 for the 8th Annual UBB 29 Miners Memorial, won by Benji Hicks. The announcement comes the night before the 9th Annual UBB 29 Miners Memorial which has shifted to I-77 Speedway in Ripley, WV for 2019.
