ULTIMATE NORTHEAST INVADES ERIEZ FOR THE MIKE FARR MEMORIAL

CARNESVILLE, GA - The Ultimate Northeast Super Late Model Series will wrap-up a big Memorial Day weekend on Sunday May 26th at the Eriez Speedway for the prestigious Mike Farr Memorial. The event will pay $4,100-to-win and will pay $400-to-start. The event will mark the second Ultimate Northeast visit to the speedway.

Last season on Labor Day Sunday, Boom Briggs picked up his first career Ultimate Northeast Super Late Model Series victory at Eriez Speedway. Briggs crossed the line first in front of Chub Frank, Mike Knight, Ryan Montgomery and Darrell Bossard. On May 5th Eriez opened their season under a new promoter and Max Blair picked up the victory in that event over Greg Oakes, Colton Flinner, Chad Wright and Billy Hackett.

The Memorial day weekend starts off on Saturday May 25th for the Ultimate Northeast with a $5,000-to-win event at Stateline Speedway. Prior to a rainout last weekend at Tyler County Speedway in the Earl Hill Memorial the Ultimate Northeast Series opened their season on March 23rd at the Hagerstown Speedway with Justin Weaver of Williamsport, Md., picking up the victory.

The event will be sponsored by Jay's Auto Wrecking and Genesis Shocks.

"We're excited to get back to Eriez again this season as last year's race won by Boom Briggs was an exciting event for our series. We are honored to be sanctioning the Mike Farr Memorial this year and look to have a great race to wrap up our big Memorial Day weekend," said Ultimate Northeast regional director Rose Compton.
