FASTRAK VP RACING FUELS NATIONAL WEEKLY CHAMPIONSHIP TO BEGIN APRIL 5TH

CARNESVILLE, GA - The FASTRAK VP Racing Fuels National Weekly Championship points season will begin on Friday, April 5th. All FASTRAK members must have their membership forms and dues into the FASTRAK office before April 5th for their points to begin counting and their races count towards qualification for the 2019 FASTRAK World Challenge. No points or races will be counted before membership is received.

“The season is right around the corner,” said FASTRAK Vice President DJ Irvine, “We are looking forward to the 2019 season, with the newly formatted World Challenge, the $50,000 to win FASTRAK World Championship, and welcoming new tracks into the FASTRAK family.”

Competitors will use their best 15 finishes throughout the year to contend for the $5,000 to win FASTRAK VP Racing Fuels National Weekly Championship, which pays through the top 10. The points end on Labor Day, September 2nd.

Drivers must compete in a minimum of 10 FASTRAK sanctioned races throughout the season, beginning April 5th, to be eligible for the 2019 FASTRAK World Challenge slated for October 3-5th at Beckley Motorsports Park. October 3rd will be open practice, with October 4th being a $2,000 to win program, and wrapping up on October 5th with a $5,000 to win finale. There is also a $5,000 to win points fund for the top 10 in points through the two races.

“With the new format for the World Challenge, it is possible for a FASTRAK weekly driver to earn $17,000 in 2019,” said Irvine.
